Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta

This is a fan favorite! My clients can’t get enough of this zesty pasta. I love this recipe  it’s easy to make and all you need is one pot so the clean up is a breeze. The red pepper flakes are optional but I love a little spice in my life.

  • Ingredients 



 8 ounces Linguine Pasta



 2 tablespoons olive oil


 6 tablespoons butter


 4 cloves garlic minced


 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes


 1 pound large shrimp peeled


 salt and pepper to taste


 1 tablespoon italian seasoning


 4 cups baby spinach


a1/2 cup parmesan cheese


 2 tablespoons parsley chopped


 1 tablespoon lemon juice


 1 tablespoon garlic salt                              

Directions

1. In a large pot cook the linguine in boiling water according to package directions. Drain the pasta and set aside. 2. Using the same pot, heat olive oil and 3 Tablespoons of butter. Add the red peppers(optional) and garlic cook until fragrant.(around 30 seconds)or until garlic is golden 3. Next add the shrimp, garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the shrimp starts to turn pink. Add the italian seasoning and spinach and cook until wilted. 

4. Add the pasta back to the pot with the remaining butter, parmesan, and parsley. Stir until mixed and the butter is melted. Add in the lemon juice.5. Enjoy!
